Bomford Ploughs

RE: Alec’s Cuttings No 20 in your February issue of Tractor magazine.

After recently having retired from working on farms for 50 years and having read your magazine for many years I was interested in the article on ploughs in the early 1960s.

I used a Bomford Reversible between 62-67 and I have never read or seen any photos on these ploughs. Plenty of references are made of adjustment to modern ploughs; but Bomford Ploughs could be adjusted without spanners etc; skimmer depth-width; plough depth; they even reversed as you lifted them out of work and a chain was fixed to the tractor drawbar.
