Phil Voice, founder of the Landscape Juice Network, will be driving an Etesia H124 mower from Bergerac in France up to John o’ Groats in Scotland, to raise money for Perennial (Royal Gardeners’ Benevolent Society). Not only is he travelling through two different countries but, Phil will be racking up the mileage covering an enormous distance of over 1250 miles (2000km).

The Harry Ferguson Homestead show August 18 has been cancelled due to poor condition and pre event poor weather forecast says Bill Forsythe.
The road run on Friday the 17th will still go ahead however
And starts from Ballykeel Baptist Church car park, Dromara Rd, Hillsboro at 7pm. Last year the successful event saw over 100 tractors touring a scenic route and driving past the Ferguson statue and memorial gardens.

G Marshall (Tractors) Ltd at St Boswells has been appointed as a service dealer in the Scottish Borders for McCormick tractors.
"We had another couple of offers for a new tractor franchise," says dealer principal George Marshall. "But after speaking to some of AgriArgo's existing dealers and placing test tractors with customers, we decided McCormick offered the best all-round package."

Massey Ferguson has given full backing to the National Farmers Union’s (NFU) high-profile campaign ‘Farming Delivers for Britain’. With its UK HQ based at Stoneleigh in Warwickshire, the farm machinery manufacturer is endorsing the campaign which aims to inform the public about the many ways in which farming contributes to the economy. This coincides with a major new NFU report which demonstrates that UK farming is growing strongly and is the foundation stone for Britain’s food and drink industry, now the UK’s fourth largest export sector. Farming delivered more than £8 billion to Britain’s economy in 2011 – an increase of 25% on the previous year.

Valtra has donated an A93 HiTech tractor to the Weiveld Agriculture School in South Africa. Weiveld is the largest agriculture school in South Africa with 600 students, but its fleet of tractors is decades old. The donation includes long-term service, training and spare parts support. Founded in 1994 after the end of apartheid, the school is free of charge to students.
