Saturday December 3 saw the annual H J Pugh & Co Agricultural Bygones, Collectables And Stationary Engine Collective Sale. The sale was built up mainly from two private collections of stationary engines and spares, farming and garden bygones, cast iron seats, plates and tools, models, literature and manuals.

With the winter weather starting to settle in, a large crowd of over 100 buyers turned out to both bid up and listen to the prices made. The prices achieved showed a good trade on the whole with the stationary engines making good money. With over 700 lots laid out as one ring there was something for everyone and the H J Pugh & Co team worked hard to ensure a smooth and enjoyable day.

All lots were live on the internet which proved good advertising and it gave online bidders the chance to purchase some rare collectables which also pushed up the hammer prices.
