Good fun!
By: Web Editor
I WAS pleased to see your two page brochures on the Cole Ditching Blade. My dad and I used to borrow my grandad’s ditching blade in the 1970s, we used to take it in two pieces in the cattle trailer.
It was a very simple implement with nothing to break. As long as the ground was soft it did a good job on the straight line ditches, but any bends got a bit wider than the original ditch line.
It was quite long behind the tractor on the road but the Ford 4000 didn’t notice it behind. It was a simple and cheap way of cleaning ditches and good fun using it!
