Zedlock is a unique lock product designed for farm and estate gates, which provides superior security and ease of use compared to traditional devices such as a padlock & chain, and at comparable cost.

Designed by Bruce Robertson, the inventor has produced a product that cannot be ‘cropped’ by bolt cutters, the most common method of forced entry. Particular attention was paid to the stainless steel sliding bolt, which cannot be cut by a gas torch.  

Zedlock comprises a sliding bolt and deadlock, and because the bolt has a long ‘throw’, this makes it suitable for field gates where the gap between the gate and gatepost is up to 50mm/2”. The lock mechanism is a high quality Union 5-lever deadlock. The locks can be offered keyed-alike, and retrospectively keyed-alike when you add more Zedlocks, so one key can operate all of your farm and estate gates.
